Donate to the 4 Little Girls Memorial Scholarship Fund
The 4 Little Girls Memorial Fund was created in 1983 as a living legacy to the memory of Addie Mae Collins, Denise McNair, Carole Robertson and Cynthia Wesley, who died in the tragic bombing of the Sixteenth Street Baptist Church by members of the Ku Klux Klan on September 15th, 1963.
Established as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization by AmSouth Bank (now Regions), The Birmingham News (now part of AL.com) and other business and civic leaders, the Fund has awarded more than $275,000 in scholarships to 95 exceptional students over the past 35 years.
The goal of this college scholarship fund is simple and straightforward – that from the ashes of hatred and destruction might come tolerance, understanding and unity modeled in the lives of young people.
Tax-deductible contributions to the Fund can be made via check, wire, ACH and stock transfer.
